Terri M. Gillespie, of Cherry Hill, a former employee of the Diocese of Camden, died June 15, she was 56.
She was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Mildred E. (nee Braun) Gillespie of Haddonfield. She was the sister of Karen Martini of Haddon Twp., Kurt Gillespie of Tucson, Ariz. and the late Patricia Gallagher, Lynne Gillespie and Father Edward J. Gillespie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Gina, Jon, Denise, Alyssa and Luke Martini and her friend and caregiver Roberta Lynch.
Gillespie was a graduate of Haddonfield High School and Philadelphia Textile College. She was a grief counselor for the Diocese of Camden, Office of Family Life and the founder of Helping Hands at St. Peter Celestine Church. She enjoyed the beaches of Ocean City in the summer and will be missed by many.
The funeral Mass was celebrated June 18 at St. Peter Celestine Church, Cherry Hill. Interment was private.
