Deacon Joseph Janocha, director of Hospital Chaplaincy for VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services Diocese of Camden, visited senior ministries in two parishes Sept. 4 (seen here), bringing prayers, support and a surprise. First, he stopped by the Renaissance Senior Center at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, Gibbsboro, followed by a visit to Golden Slippers at Saint Simon Stock Parish, Berlin.
At both locations, he bestowed on the seniors a blessing for good health in mind, body and spirit. He also acknowledged the seniors’ much-needed support in creating these vibrant, happy, social communities for one another. Nicole Keefer, VITALity’s Executive Director, and Christine Willard, Director of Marketing & Senior Ministries, joined in on the visit to share their gratitude and deliver a gift – a puzzle depicting a fall scene that the seniors could work on together. The following week, the VITALity team visited the parish senior ministries of Incarnation in Mantua and Christ the Redeemer, Atco.
