VITALity Catholic Healthcare Services Diocese of Camden will sponsor its annual Centenarian, Nonagenarian, and Octogenarian Mass next month.

The celebration will recognize the blessings and contributions that older generations have on their families, each other and the Diocese as a whole, said Nicole Keefer, executive director of VITALity.

“Without their stories, our history and era of early Catholicism in the Diocese will be gone,” she added.

The Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Oct. 4 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. A reception will follow.

The celebration will shine a spotlight on a population that tends to grow quieter as they age, Keefer said. “We want them to know they are not forgotten … and that we want to continue to share their stories and their legacy, now and for years to come.”

R.S.V.P. by Sept. 25 to Christine Willard at vitality-events@camdendiocese or call 856-583-6121.
