Teen Vacation Bible School will be held at Holy Family for 6th through 12th graders, July 20-24. Spend time with friends, while growing in the faith; evening service projects, scavenger hunts, teen prayer activities, group discussions, games, snacks and faith sharing. All middle and high school teens will work with their age group for discussion and faith sharing activities. The week will end with a BBQ swim party at Bells Lake. Cost is $20 per teen. Holy Family will host a 5th Grade Leadership Conference, Led To Lead 2009, designed to give pre-teens leadership skills and prepare for the transition from elementary school to middle school, Aug. 3-7 from 6-8 p.m. Each night will begin with a group dinner followed by group activities, guest speakers, prayer and reflection. Hearts of Fire, a post confirmation program (Mystagogy) open to all Diocese of Camden youth in 7th and 8th grades, is holding registration for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year. Teens will participate in service activities, leadership training, community building and liturgical celebrations that will help them to live out the Sacrament of Confirmation. The theme for 2009-2010 is Morality and through hands on activities teens will explore this topic and how it relates to their everyday lives and their faith lives.
