“Laudato Si’, Pathways to Sustainable Living: A Four-Part Series on Zoom,” will take place on four consecutive Thursday nights from April 29- May 20.
Co-sponsored by the Notre Dame Club of South Jersey and the Center for Environmental Transformation, the series is hosted by the Catholic Community of Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill and presented by the Villanova University Sustainable Leadership Council co-chairs: Father Art Purcaro, OSA, and William Lorenz.
Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical, “Laudato Si,” the four weeks will call on participants to acknowledge the urgency of our environmental challenges.
The four sessions include:
April 29 — Introduction to “Laudato Si’,” the See-Judge-Act methodology and the four fundamental principles of Catholic social thought
May 6 — Pathway 1 (shelter and energy)
May 13 — Pathway 2 (transport) and Pathway 3 (food and water)
May 20 — Pathway 4 (consumer purchases); next steps and wrap-up
All presentations are from 7-9 p.m. via Zoom.
