When you’re in the middle of a pandemic and make the decision to open your schools to full-time in-person learning, it’s good to know you have health experts on the payroll. South Jersey Catholic Schools have some of the most well-trained nurses working in them today. Our hosts Marianela Nunez and Mike Walsh talk to three – Shayna Benson from Saint Margaret Regional School; Cele McEvoy Walter from Paul VI High School; and Mary Beth Abate from Assumption Regional Catholic School – about how they helped the schools reopen, worked with parents, and cared for both students and staff as they lived through the pandemic. We had a great conversation about how these healthcare professionals stay on top of the medical news and keep people cared for, this year and every year.
