Mass according to the 1962 Missale Romanum promulgated by Saint John XXIII will be celebrated in the Diocese of Camden at Mater Ecclesiae, Berlin, New Jersey (Art.3§2). The current schedule of Masses will remain in force.
The readings proclaimed during Mass will be from the approved Lectionary in the vernacular (Art. 3§3).
The Reverend Robert C. Pasley is designated as the delegate of the Bishop of Camden in charge of celebrating Mass according to the 1962 Missale Romanum and he will have the pastoral care of the faithful who attend this Mass (Art. 3§4).
All other priests must seek permission of the Bishop of Camden in order to celebrate Mass according the 1962 Missale Romanum. All other Masses celebrated according to the 1962 Missale Romanum within the Diocese of Camden taking place outside of Mater Ecclesiae, whether in a parish church or other suitable place, are to cease.
These Provisions are made in accord with and in obedience to the directives of Traditionis Custodes, of Pope Francis, and become effective the first Sunday of Advent, November 28, 2021.
