A beaming Sister Elizabeth Potuczko of the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, director of Blessed Edmund Center in Cherry Hill, shares the joy of giving with her pre-school 3- and 4-year-old boys and girls who participated in the collection of coins toward “Our Lady Fund.” That’s the ongoing campaign to raise funds for the renovation of the damage incurred to the Our Lady of Lourdes statue atop the medical center in Camden in the August earthquake.
The New Jersey State Council of the Knights of Columbus recently presented Lourdes Health Foundation with a $7,900 check for the repair and future preservation of the statue. For every council that donated $500 or more, the State Council donated an additional $250.
