Faithful throughout the Diocese of Camden are invited to “experience a pilgrimage in South Jersey” by visiting a special exhibit centered on the Eucharist and Blessed Carlo Acutis.
The traveling interactive exhibit, which is being presented through a partnership with the Diocese of Trenton, highlights some of the Eucharistic miracles that Blessed Carlo – patron of the first year of the National Eucharistic Revival – documented for the Church as a teenager.
“A key focus of the revival is creating places and spaces for an encounter with Jesus,” said Donna Ottaviano-Britt, the Diocese of Camden’s Secretary for Pastoral Outreach. “Everyone experiences these encounters differently. Each person is a unique and unrepeatable creation of God. He is always working in our lives.”

The exhibit will visit Our Lady of Hope Parish Chapel, Blackwood – 701 Little Gloucester Road – from Oct. 28 through Nov. 5. It is scheduled to visit Christ the King Parish, Haddonfield, in February, and Saint Joseph Parish, Somers Point, in April.
“We partnered with the Trenton Diocese to bring this exhibit here in hopes people would find time to learn, pray and draw closer to Jesus,” Ottaviano-Britt said. “It’s a series of four interconnected rooms with displays. It’s a richer experience because it has an audio component, so bring your smartphone, scan the QR code that is there and select English or Spanish for the guided tour.”
Ottaviano-Britt encourages South Jersey’s faithful to consider organizing a pilgrimage as a family, with friends or with fellow members of a parish. “Consider inviting others and taking an opportunity such as this to introduce someone to Jesus,” she said. “Your witness, your invitation could create curiosity for another member of the mystical body of Christ. And, well, why wouldn’t we do that for him or her? It’s exactly what Jesus hopes we will do.”
The exhibit will be open:
• Oct. 28-29: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Oct. 30: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Oct. 31: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Nov. 1-3: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Nov. 4: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Nov. 5: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
“For those of us in the pastoral offices of the Diocese, our great hope is that the people of Camden continue to develop a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus,” Ottaviano-Britt said. “We want others to love him as we love him because we know how transformational this intimacy is. So, this is another opportunity for someone to know Jesus more, love Jesus more and serve Jesus more.”
