Third grade students of St. Mary School, Vineland, learned about the Titanic on the 100th anniversary of its sinking. Each student researched passengers that were on board the maiden voyage and dressed as that person during a recent Titanic Day. Students also heard a presentation by Vineland author W. Mae Kent on lesser known passengers, particularly the women and minorities who were passengers on the ship. Ken is the author of “Titanic: The Untold Story.”
