Bishop Dennis Sullivan installed Father Robert Sinatra as pastor of Holy Child Parish on Nov. 16 during the Vigil Mass at Saint Teresa Church, Runnemede.
In his homily, Bishop Sullivan acknowledged that Father Sinatra officially began his tenure at the parish in July, which has given parishioners the opportunity to know him. “And I would suggest that you get to know him even better,” the Bishop said.

“It’s not easy for a priest to be transferred. Believe, me, I’ve been through this. You love something, and to start all over again, that’s not easy. But with the encouragement and the prayers and the wealth of pastoral experiences of the people, he will bring to this parish all that this parish needs,” Bishop Sullivan said.
After taking the oath as pastor and signing the formal paperwork, Father Sinatra officially greeted members of the parish’s staff, pastoral and finance councils, and trustees and thanked them for their service. After Mass, fellow priests and clergy, as well as parishioners, family and friends, visited with each other during a reception in the church hall.
