
Bishop Dennis Sullivan celebrated an Advent Mass with the Diocese’s retired priests Dec. 16 at Sacred Heart Residence, Cherry Hill. In his homily, Bishop Sullivan reflected on the profound themes of the Advent season, a time of preparation and hope leading to the joy of Christmas.

He expressed deep gratitude to the retired priests for their decades of faithful service to the people of God, recognizing their enduring commitment to the Church’s mission.
He also extended heartfelt thanks to the staff of Sacred Heart Residence for their compassionate care and support of the priests in their retirement. After Mass, Bishop Sullivan and the priests enjoyed a meal and fellowship, celebrating the bonds of brotherhood and shared ministry.
