Bishop Williams announces priest assignments

Bishop Joseph A. Williams announces the following priest personnel changes:

Effective May 1, 2025 – Rev. Thomas A. Newton, is appointed Director of Clergy Personnel; continues as Pastor, Saint Damien Parish, Ocean City, and Advocate for Priest’s Wellness.

Effective June 1, 2025 – Rev. Christopher J. Myers, from Parochial Vicar, The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light, Cherry Hill, to Parochial Vicar, Notre Dame de la Mer, Wildwood, and Director of Catholic Identity, Wildwood Catholic Academy, Wildwood.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Paul Abbruscato, from Parochial Vicar, Holy Child Parish, Runnemede, to Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine, Lindenwold.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Arockia Britto Arul Ananthu, from Parochial Vicar, Christ the Good Shepherd, Vineland, to Parochial Vicar, Holy Child Parish, Runnemede.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Christopher T. Bakey, from Part-Time Parochial Vicar, In Residence, Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, Egg Harbor Township, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, In Residence, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Absecon; continues as Part-Time Campus Ministry, Stockton University.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Michael de Leon, A.M., is appointed to a second six-year term as Pastor, Saint Simon Stock Parish, Berlin.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Nicholas Dudo is appointed Co-Pastor, the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Mullica Hill, for a six-year term; continues as Vicar for Clergy.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Michael J. Field, From Pastor, the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Mullica Hill, to Retired

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Peter P. Gallagher, from Part-Time Parochial Vicar, Holy Angels Parish, Woodbury, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, In Residence, Saint Mary’s, Gloucester City; continues as Part Time Director of Catholic Identity, Gloucester Catholic High School.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Ariel Hernandez, continues as Pastor, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Newfield.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Robert E. Hughes, from Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia to Pastor, the Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City, for a six-year term.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Pawel W. Kryszkiewicz is appointed to a second six-year term as Pastor, Holy Trinity Parish, Margate.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Prashanth Lobo, M.SS.CC., from Outside the Diocese to Pastor, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Linwood, for a six-year term.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Ricardo Lozano, from Parochial Vicar, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine, Lindenwold, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, the Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City, and Part-Time Associate Director of Vocations.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Roger E. McGrath, from Temporary Administrator, Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Linwood, to Vicar for Retired Priests.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Kevin J. Mohan, from Pastor, the Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City, to Co-Pastor, the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Mullica Hill for a six-year term and Part-Time Diocesan Ministries (TBA).

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Timothy S. Mulranen, from Newly Ordained to Parochial Vicar, Saint Joseph Parish, Somers Point.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Joshua A. Nevitt, from Secretary to the Bishop, Associate Director of Vocations and Vice-Chancellor, In Residence, Bishop’s Residence, Woodbury, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, Holy Angels Parish, Woodbury, and Part-Time Associate Director of Vocations; continues as Master of Ceremonies for Major Diocesan Liturgies, In Residence, Bishop’s Residence, Woodbury.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Logan J. Nilsen, from Part-Time Parochial Vicar, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Absecon, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, the Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City; continues as Part-Time Director of Catholic Identity, Holy Spirit High School, Absecon.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Thomas K. Piro, from Newly Ordained to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, Saint Bridget University Parish, Glassboro, and Part-Time Associate Director of Vocations.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Stephen G. Robbins, from Part-Time Director of Catholic Identity, Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, to Part-Time Associate Director of Vocations; continues as Part-Time Parochial Vicar, In Residence, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Camden.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Rev. Carlo J. Santa Teresa, Parochial Vicar, Saint Joseph Parish, Somers Point, to Part-Time Parochial Vicar, In Residence, Christ the King Parish, Haddonfield, and Part-Time Director of Catholic Identity, Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill.
