On June 27, during the Catholic Media Association’s annual conference, held this year in Phoenix, the Diocese of Camden’s Office of Communications and the Catholic Star Herald were honored with 12 awards across a broad range of categories – including social media, print and online publications.
While we are sincerely grateful for this recognition, awards are never our primary goal. What drives us – every day – is the privilege of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and highlighting the many ways His mission is lived out in our parishes, schools and ministries across South Jersey.
These honors reflect not only the quality of our work, but the dedication of a remarkable team. I extend my heartfelt thanks to our talented staff and freelancers who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Their creativity, professionalism and deep faith are the foundation of all we produce.
We are proud to stand among our peers in Catholic media, but even prouder to serve the Church through storytelling that inspires, informs and uplifts the people of our Diocese.
I’m also happy to announce that next year, we won’t need to fly so far for the conference, as we will be hosting the membership and attendees of the Catholic Media Association in Atlantic City in June 2026!
