Deacon Angel Ruben Ramos Vega, 93, died Aug. 14.
Ordained in 1980 by Bishop George H. Guilfoyle, his first assignment was at Holy Spirit Parish in Atlantic City. In 2014, he retired as a permanent deacon for the Diocese of Camden at the Parish of Saint Monica, Atlantic City.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 22 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 2651 Atlantic Ave., Atlantic City. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. Internment will follow at the Richard Squires Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor Park (Mays Landing).
