
Sister Josephine Wade, SSJ, 86, a coordinator of religious education and pastoral associate in the Diocese of Camden, died March 6.
She was born March 19, 1939, in Bayonne. She entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph in Chestnut Hill, Pa., on April 7, 1958. She made first vows on Aug. 14, 1960, and final vows on Aug. 14, 1965.
Over the next five-plus decades, she ministered in parishes and schools
in the dioceses of Camden, Trenton and Wilmington, Del., as well as the
archdioceses of Newark and Philadelphia.
In the Diocese of Camden, she was coordinator of religious education at Saint Lawrence Parish in Lindenwold (now part of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine), and pastoral associate at Transfiguration Parish, West Collingswood (now part of Most Precious Blood Parish).
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 11 at Saint Joseph Villa, Flourtown, Pa. Burial followed at the Saint Joseph Villa cemetery.
