Bishop Joseph A. Williams joined the Wildwood Catholic Academy community Sept. 23 to celebrate Mass with students, faculty and administration. Parents, alumni and parishioners of Notre Dame de la Mer Parish also came together to share in this special liturgy. Joining Bishop Williams were Father Cadmus Mazzarella, pastor of Notre Dame de La Mer Parish; Father Christopher Myers, the parish’s parochial vicar and the school’s director of Catholic Identity; and Father Thomas Piro, parochial vicar of Saint Bridget University Parish, Glassboro – and proud Wildwood Catholic alumnus. Following Mass, Bishop Williams enjoyed lunch and conversation with students and staff. The priests joined Bishop Williams in sharing stories from their own ministries in which they experienced God’s love and guidance. The Bishop also received a special “shore-inspired” gift bag filled with local treats.
