The 24th annual Charismatic Conference took place at the Wildwoods Convention Center, bringing together thousands of Catholics for three days of praise, worship, and unity.
From Oct. 5-7, all ages participated in the adult, junior high youth, or senior high youth track, which all focused on the conference theme for the year, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom” (Luke 23:42).
Conference speakers included Father Ariel Hernandez, pastor of Holy Cross Parish, Bridgeton; Richard Lane, an NFL Hall of Fame cornerback; and Donna Lane of Xavier University, New Orleans.
The conference was about “believing in God’s power and miracles,” said Father Thomas Jon Thomas, parochial vicar at the Catholic Community of Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill.
