The Bridge, a youth program at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden, is offering free weekly Youth Empowerment Sessions, for teens ages 13-19.
These interactive sessions, held every Tuesday night from 7:30-9 p.m., feature topics such as goal-setting, stress management, leadership and communication skills.
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, an Interactive College Night will be held for youth of all ages. Everyone is encouraged to attend to discover more about themselves and their goals for the future and also to learn about financial aid, college essay writing, college applications, social groups and more.
Sessions are located at 1499 Vesper Blvd. in Camden, near the Emergency Entrance at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center. Participants are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the 7:30 p.m. start time. Parents and teachers are welcome to attend. There is no registration required.

The Bridge is looking for youth (ages 13-20) and adult volunteers to help facilitate the Empowerment Sessions. Experience not necessary. The Bridge offers free leadership and group dynamics training to volunteers.
