Father Byron to speak in Collingswood March 20


Jesuit Father William J. Byron will speak at St. John Church, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Collingswood, on Thursday March 20, 7-9 p.m.
The theme for the evening will be “Is the Catholic Faith Losing Its Flavor?”
Father Byron holds a doctorate of economics from the University of Maryland, two theology degrees from Woodstock College, a bachelor’s in philosophy and master’s in economics from Saint Louis University, and a certificate in educational management from Harvard. He is currently University Professor of Business and Society at St. Joseph’s University. His past positions include president St. Joseph’s Preparatory School, interim president of Loyola University New Orleans, president of The Catholic University of America and president of the University of Scranton.
