During the recent Covid related challenges, our firm made a commitment to maintain the availability and quality of legal services that we offer, and to maintain the jobs and security of our HCK team members that deliver those services.  We upgraded our already robust technology to enable almost everyone to work safely and securely from home. We trained ourselves to use remote technologies such as Zoom to communicate with clients and courts. We encouraged flexible hours for people to come to the office when needed while maintaining social distancing and safety.

We continue to provide in office appointments, with appropriate safety measures, when needed or preferred by clients, but also deliver many services remotely. We have had signing of critical documents such as wills in client’s home driveways and other imaginative locations; this approach provides safety for all while continuing to deliver timely professional service that clients require.

We look forward to a return to normalcy, or whatever our new normal is, as a stronger team, that has learnt together to deal with adversity and to triumph over it. We are emerging even stronger as a firm than we were before and look forward to serving you and yours with your legal needs now and in the future.
