Throughout Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday, faithful in the Diocese of Camden participated in prayer services, Masses, and processions following and praying with Jesus through His Passion to His Death and Resurrection. Bishop Dennis Sullivan, along with seminarians, clergy and religious, joined faithful throughout South Jersey for the holy season of Easter, the most important of all liturgical times.

See some of these spiritual moments at Masses and prayer services celebrated by Bishop Dennis Sullivan in parishes throughout South Jersey during Holy Week, captured by our photographers, in photo galleries:

Palm Sunday – April 2

To start Holy Week, Bishop Dennis Sullivan celebrated Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord Mass with the parishioners of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown.

This Mass commemorates the institution of the sacraments of the Eucharist and Holy Orders. It also features the washing of feet and a Eucharistic procession to the altar of repose and marks the beginning of the Easter Triduum.
