Before the Chrism Mass in Blackwood on Sept. 14, Bishop Dennis Sullivan posed for a photo with local members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a Catholic group that supports Christians in the Holy Land through prayer, pilgrimages and financial support.
Msgr. Louis A. Marucci, the coordinator for the Equestrian Order of the knights and ladies of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem in the Diocese of Camden, is planning a virtual pilgrimage to the Holy Land beginning in January 2021.
“No pilgrims visited the Holy Land during the past six months because of the pandemic,” said Msgr. Marucci, who is also pastor of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Gibbsboro. “The funds that pilgrims provide are vital to the Christian Church, which suffers tremendously. I will conduct the virtual pilgrimage via a Zoom link.”
To register, send name, address and phone numbe to Kathy Emrich at KEmrich@Churchofstandrews.org.
