The official ribbon-cutting ceremony for LourdesCare Cherry Hill, a new outpatient facility located on Route 70, took place on March 5. After more than two years of planning and construction, LourdesCare at Cherry Hill, a new, state-of-the-art outpatient center at Route 70 and Brace Road, opened its doors with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 5.

LourdesCare at Cherry Hill, a 54,000 square-foot ambulatory care center, is designed as a one-stop shop for medical care, support services, and wellness programs and classes.

Lourdes programs and physician offices will move into the facility throughout March. An open house event for the community will be held on Saturday, March 23.

Prior to LourdesCare at Cherry Hill, the space located at 1 Brace Road served, among other uses, as a supermarket and department store for the last four decades.

The center, developed by Rosewood Real Estate Enterprises of Cherry Hill, will be the primary office location for Lourdes Cardiology Services, with advanced subspecialty programs such as its Congestive Heart Failure Center. It will also house physician offices for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, bariatrics, orthopedics, rheumatology, podiatry, radiology, cardiac rehabilitation and physical therapy, and laboratory services.

Lourdes Health System, with hospitals in Camden and Willingboro, is sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, N.Y., and is a member of Catholic Health East, a health system with 34 hospitals on the East Coast.
