The 200 Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties held their 28th annual memorial Mass, honoring public safety personnel who have died in the line of duty, on June 9 at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church in Atlantic City.
Msgr. William Hodge, St. Nicholas pastor, celebrated the liturgy, which was preceded by the Presentation of the Colors, with the New Jersey State Police/Atlantic City Police Department Combined Honor Guard; the Cape-Atlantic Police and Fire Irish Pipe Bridage; and the Atlantic City Fire Department Sand Pipers Pipes and Drums.
Brunch followed the Mass at Borgata Hotel and Casino. NBC 40 News and Sports anchors Michelle Dawn Mooney and Pete Thompson served as Masters of Ceremonies, and after a video tribute to fallen officers, guest speaker Bob Delaney, a decorated New Jersey State Police Trooper, NBA referee and motivational speaker, provided remarks.
