The Parish Nurse Council of the Diocese of Camden is presenting a free program for homeowners and volunteers entitled “Mold Awareness and General Safety Training” on March 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Parish Life Center at the Church of St. Katherine Drexel in Egg Harbor Township.
Linda Monaco from the Rutgers School of Public Health will teach participants how and where to look for mold in their home and understand clean-up procedures for mold.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
The mission of the Parish Nurse Council of the Diocese of Camden is to promote and support Parish Nursing and health ministries within the diocese. The goals of the council include: to establish parish nursing/health ministries in all of the parishes in the Diocese of Camden and to provide professional support for parish nurses.
Parish nurses who attend are encouraged to attend a networking meeting following the presentation.
