Concerts of revival and evangelization took place recently in the Diocese of Camden, bringing together the Catholic faithful for praise, worship, and reflection.
The three concerts were held at Holy Cross Parish in Bridgeton, St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral in Camden, and St. Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield. More than 450 worshippers, attended one of the three evenings.
Paulina Rojas, a Catholic singer/songwriter from Chile, led the evening, inspiring the attendees with her music and personal testimony, where she spoke of her work as an evangelizer, and giving her life to be a missionary for the Lord.
Andres Arango, Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry and Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Camden, welcomed those gathered, and shared reflections on the Year of Faith, and the New Evangelization.
To become an effective evangelizer, Arango said, one must pray constantly; read and live the Sacred Scripture; and show love to their family.
