In celebration of Pope Francis’ visit to the United States and the launch of Holy Spirit’s commitment to join Pope Francis in bringing his message of love and mercy to life, members of the Absecon high school recently gathered for a “photo with Pope Francis (cut-out).” Custom designed T-shirts were given to each student after they signed a promise to provide acts of service and kindness consistent with Pope Francis’ message. Pictured at top: Erin Shober ‘17 of Absecon, Father Perry Cherubini, school president, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dye of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Susan Dennen, principal, and Matthew Nyce ’16 of Smithville. The T-shirts were made possible through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dye.
