The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light in Cherry Hill will hold a presentation on “Dealing With Loss And Disappointment: What Do You Do After You Let Go?” presented by Father Kevin Anderson on Wednesday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Resurrection School auditorium.
The presentation will use music, stories and insights to help survivors cope with loss, separation or disappointment, and discover healthy choices for living. The evening of song and spiritual advice will be helpful for anyone who has ever suffered a loss (e.g. death, divorce, disappointment), even if that wound occurred years ago.
Father Anderson is a priest of the St. Cloud, Minn., Diocese, and is pastor at the newly-merged parish of Christ Our Light, which serves the towns of Princeton and Zimmerman. He has served in a number of ministries throughout his priesthood including pastor at a university parish, campus minister at a Catholic college, high school religion teacher and various pastorates.
Father Anderson holds graduate degrees from Loyola University in Chicago and St. John’s School of Theology, Collegeville, Minn., and is active in youth retreats and men’s spirituality programs. He has also recorded several CDs of original songs.
Before the 7:30 p.m. presentation, there will be a soup and salad dinner at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. For more information, call the parish at 856-667-2440.
