Priests of the Diocese gathered with Bishop Dennis Sullivan on Dec. 14 for an Advent Day of Recollection at Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, Sicklerville.
Leading the retreat was Father Christopher Redcay, a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia who serves at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood. The theme of the day was “Zechariah: Model of Priesthood.”
“The Advent Day of Recollection is an opportunity for the priests serving in the Diocese to join with Bishop Sullivan for some sacred time of prayer and meditation, in preparing ourselves for the celebration of the Lord’s coming in the flesh and his eventual coming in glory,” said Father Nicholas Dudo, diocesan Vicar for Clergy. “This avails us the grace to help those we serve do the same.”
