On Friday, Feb. 17, St. Bridget Parish in Glassboro held their first Catholic Family Revival, a night to give praise and worship to Jesus through prayer, personal testimony and Catholic teaching.
Agnes Musick, facilitator of the group, said the evening’s goal was to “renew and revive our faith, become empowered by the love of Jesus, and know his unconditional love.”
The Catholic Family Revival began at St. Bridget’s after Musick met Deacon Arnaldo Santos from Holy Cross Parish in Bridgeton. Since September 2011 he has led the movement at Holy Cross, where revivals are held once a month.
Some 70 worshippers attended including Deacon Santos; St. Bridget pastor Father Matthew Weber; and St. Bridget Deacon, Samuel Soto. The evening ended with adoration and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
The next Catholic Family Revival at St. Bridget is scheduled for Friday, April 27, from 7-9 p.m.
