Staff, volunteers and supporters of the Romero Center in Camden came together for Mass on March 24 to celebrate not only the ministry’s 28th anniversary, but the Feast Day of Saint Óscar Romero. The Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception was celebrated by Father Stephen Robbins, parish administrator, who also bestowed a special blessing on all those associated with the center. Afterward, all enjoyed camaraderie and snacks in Cathedral Hall. Romero Center Ministries, located on the parish campus of Saint Joseph Pro-Cathedral, is a social justice education and service-immersion retreat center ministry that brings in high school and college visitors every year. Dedicated to serving the vulnerable, the center is based on the witness of the beloved saint and martyr from El Salvador.
