The Save Wildwood Catholic Foundation made a donation to the school in the amount of $26,000 to be used as scholarship money. Save Wildwood Catholic members Carole Pantalone and Rich Bischoff presented the check to Kevin Quinn and Ted Pugliese at the school’s Freshmen and New Student Parent Night. The Save Wildwood Catholic Foundation pledged $1,000 for the first 50 students to register. They have met that goal and are continuing to assist. Also, the school received a donation from Karen Lauth on behalf of the Lauth Family totaling $5,000. This donation will go toward off-setting the costs associated with running some of the school’s programs. Also, local businessman Charles Harvey has made a donation of $1,000 to the school.
Forty students of St. Augustine Prep, Richland, participated in a service project with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Oct. 3. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)/South Jersey Chapter held their annual 3K walk to cure diabetes at Parvin State Park, Pittsgrove, N.J. St. Augustine students raised over $1,300 for the JDRF.
