The eighth grade class from Cape Trinity Catholic School in North Wildwood took a bus to North Camden to plant “seeds of friendship” in Holy Name School on Thursday, March 8.
The teenagers left early in the morning to make the 80-mile trip — bringing with them clay pots, dirt and seeds — for their visit with the first grade. After an opening prayer in Spanish, the eighth-graders helped the younger children decorate the flower pots and plant seeds. Then they left to visit the St. John Neumann Shrine in Philadelphia before returning to the shore.
Cape Trinity is planning to host a day at the beach for the Holy Name children in June.
