The 2012 Romero Lecture Series begins with a presentation titled “Media as Faithful Citizenship” at 1 p.m., March 23, at Rutgers University-Camden.
It continues with workshops on how to live Faithful Citizenship through community organizing, prayer, advocacy and voting. The day culminates at 7 p.m. with the keynote speech given by Dr. Stephen Schneck, director of the Institute for Policy Research and Catholic Studies at The Catholic University of America, Washington.

Romero Center Ministries is a Catholic social justice education and retreat center located in Camden. Previous Romero Lecture Series keynote speakers have included peace activist Bishop Thomas Gumbleton, death penalty opponent Sister Helen Prejean, and Father Dan Groody of Notre Dame, an advocate for immigration reform.
