On Friday, Sept. 8, from 7:30- 9:30 a.m., the Catholic Business Network will host a breakfast and a presentation by Ken Pustizzi, founder and President and CEO of SNJ Today, a new and traditional media company serving content through the Internet, television, radio and newsprint platforms.

Pustizzi’s presentation will focus on his mantra, “There are more good people doing good things than bad people doing bad things.” SNJ Today has chosen to buck the trend in the news industry of “if it bleeds it leads.”

In addition to the news outlets, member SNJ Today companies include ClearBridge Media Consulting, offering full-service marketing and communications services as well as Glasstown Productions, an award-winning video production company.

“As a distinguished business owner, philanthropist and genuinely nice guy, Pustizzi is adamant that ‘quality work is done by quality people,’” the CBN states in promotional material. “Hear the what, why and how this South Jersey News organization is making a difference in the lives of many in the region and learn what is really driving their mission.”

Prior to founding and developing these media brands, Pustizzi was the President and CEO of Trico Lift, one of the largest aerial equipment companies in North America. Married for 35 years, Pustizzi and his wife, Stephanie (Bylone), have four children and three grandchildren. Pustizzi is a parishioner of Saint Padre Pio Parish in Vineland where he serves on the finance committee. He also chairs the finance committee of Saint Mary Regional School in East Vineland.

He has given his time and service to advance both public and private organizations including Wheaton Arts, United way of Atlantic Cape Cumberland and the M25 Initiative, all for which he currently serves as a board member. Pustizzi has also served in leadership capacities for the Southern New Jersey Council of the Boys Scouts of America, the Buena Regional School Board, and the Forest Grove Athletic Association.

The Catholic Business Network of South Jersey September Breakfast will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 7:30-9:30 a.m., at the Woodcrest Country Club, 300 East Evesham Road, Cherry Hill.
