On Sept. 15, Catechetical Sunday, the catechists at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Absecon, received a blessing from parochial vicar Father Logan Nilsen during the 10 a.m. Mass. After Mass, refreshments were served in the parish hall as Father Cosme de la Peña, pastor, visited with the parishioners. Plus, families took the opportunity to meet the catechists and others who work in parish ministries including the youth group, Eucharistic Revival Committee, the Christmas Bazaar and the parish’s 50th Anniversary Committee. Parish catechetical leader Diane Keenan asked children to lead grace before refreshments, above, which youngsters JJ, Ashlynn, Maddie, Jack, Will and Sarah did with big smiles.
