On Nov. 20, Bishop Dennis Sullivan and Coadjutor Bishop Joseph Williams visited Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, a poignant pilgrimage during November, the Month of Remembrance.
They prayed at the final resting places of the first four bishops of the Diocese of Camden, the Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosary, and the location of many of the Diocese’s deceased priests, which features a statue of Saint John Vianney.
This sacred tradition honors the faithful departed, reflecting on their lasting contributions to the Church. As Catholics, the faithful are reminded this month to pray for and remember those who have gone before in faith, entrusting them to God’s eternal care.
