Celebrating marriage

On Sunday Feb. 9, at the 11 a.m. Mass, Catholics of Saint Bartholomew Church, Sacred Heart Parish in Camden, celebrated World Marriage Day and the feast of Saint Josephine Bakhita. Father Gerard Marable invited married couples to dress the altar, walk in the opening procession and bring the gifts. The altar was dressed with flowers, candles, a family Bible and wedding pictures. The married couples in the ceremony ranged from newlyweds to those with more than 50 years of marriage. Father Marable blessed them with the hope for many more years of married life.
