The Black and Indian Missions Collection will take place in parishes around the Diocese of Camden the weekend of Feb. 4-5.
Since 1884, the national collection – begun at the request of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops – aids in evangelizing the Black and Indian communities of the United States. The funds are distributed as grants to dioceses across the nation, supporting and strengthening evangelization programs that otherwise would cease.
In 2022, the Diocese of Camden collected $64,141 for these missions.
