First grade students Shareese Brown and Jonathan Nelson work with a math app on new school iPads at John Paul II Regional School, Stratford.
John Paul II Regional School, Stratford, introduced 16 new iPads to its first grade students on April 10. Students quickly began using a math app to sharpen computation skills and were excited with each correct answer.
The school was able to purchase iPads with technology money from the state of New Jersey and intend on adding to this with future grant dollars and donations to its Annual Fund.
“Our goal is to continue investing in new technology, educational applications and software as well as technology courses for students so that they are well equipped for high school and beyond. Technology is integrated into all aspects of our curriculum from Kindergarten through eighth grade,” said Helen Persing, principal.
