
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden was well-represented at Catholic Charities USA’s 2022 Applied Institute For Disaster Excellence in Baton Rouge, La., which took place Dec. 5-9. The annual institute prepares attendees with the skills, understanding and tools to engage in disaster response. Attending this year were staff members Melissa Hruska, Sylvia Loumeau, Linda Thompson and Jose Sanchez. Also attending was Diocese of Camden communications director Michael Walsh, left, who co-presented a course titled “Innovative Communications – Telling the Story You Want to Tell”; and Jennifer Dyer, third from left, former Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden assistant director and current director of capacity building, disaster operations, Catholic Charities USA.
