As the sun began to set Sept. 8, casting a burnt orange hue across the field, Bishop Dennis Sullivan celebrated a bilingual Mass at Dan Graiff Farms, Newfield. During the Mass, Bishop Sullivan asked for God’s blessing on the farm, its workers and the parish community of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. Annual Farm Masses are a mission of the Newfield parish and Father Ariel Hernandez, pastor. Since August, Farm Masses have been celebrated in Malaga, Bridgeton and Woodbine.
