
Sister Lily Anne Camaioni, OP, a former Catholic campus minister at Rowan University in Glassboro and parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown, made her first profession of vows in late August.
She and five other young women made the vows during a Mass in Nashville’s Cathedral of the Incarnation. The Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia trace their roots to Tennessee’s capital.
Sister Lily Anne is the daughter of Joseph and Diane Camaioni, parishioners of Our Lady of Peace. A graduate of Williamstown High School, she attended Loyola University in Baltimore, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in global studies. Before joining the Dominican Sisters, she served as a Catholic campus minister in Glassboro and Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pa. She is currently pursuing a master of secondary education degree at Aquinas College, Nashville, owned and operated by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia.
The Congregation of Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia are dedicated to the apostolate of Catholic education. The community of 300 sisters serves in 53 schools throughout the United States and abroad, with mission houses in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Vancouver, British Columbia; Bracciano, Italy; Elgin, Scotland; Sittard, The Netherlands, and Limerick, Ireland.
