Joan Colyar, 65, mother of Father Christopher Myers, parochial vicar of the Catholic Community of Christ Our Light, Cherry Hill, died Aug. 5.
She was born in Southampton, Pa., and worked in the operating room at Jefferson / Kennedy Hospital in Washington Township.
In addition to Father Myers, she is survived by her daughter, Rosemarie Naidas (Paul Anthony); her three grandchildren, Gabriel, Madeleine (Leine), and Oliva (Violet); her siblings, John (Jack), Donna, Colleen, Gary, Laura and Kathy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 9 at Christ Our Light Church, 402 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at noon.
Interment will be held privately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, Pa.
