St. Joachim Parish in Bellmawr recently replaced its stained glass windows with ones from the old St. Maurice Church in Brooklawn, which was sold last summer. In 2011, St. Maurice; St. Anne, Westville; and Annunciation, Bellmawr, merged to form St. Joachim. The windows depicting, from left, St. Dominic; St. Anthony; St. Joseph the Provider; Our Mother of Sorrows; Sacred Heart of Jesus; St. Elizabeth Ann Seton; St. Patrick; and St. Maurice will “bring people together, as a visible witness” to former parishioners of St. Maurice, “who will see a part of their church, now bringing their memories and faith” to St. Joachim, said Father Piotr Szamocki, pastor.
