Bishop Joseph Williams formally installed Father Nicholas Dudo and Father Kevin Mohan as co-pastors of the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Mullica Hill. In his remarks during the Sept. 28 Mass, Bishop Williams reminded the faithful that the mission of these priests is not only to care for the souls of those already in the pews, but also to reach out to people within the parish boundaries – Mullica Hill, Woodstown and the surrounding communities – who may not yet know the love of Christ.
He emphasized that this mission of invitation does not rest on the shoulders of the co-pastors alone. Deacons, lay leaders and every confirmed Catholic are called to share in the responsibility of welcoming others into the life of the Church. In addition to formally receiving the parish staff, Father Dudo and Father Mohan signed the Oath of Fidelity and thanked all for their support and encouragement.
