On May 12, community partners, physicians, department administrators, and leadership for Lourdes Health System and Walgreens took part in a ribbon-cutting for the grand opening of Walgreens’ in-hospital retail pharmacy (above) at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden. Lourdes Health System has partnered with Walgreens to improve the care of its patients after they are discharged from the hospital. The product of a renovated area just off the first floor lobby, the pharmacy offers a convenient way for patients and family members to pick up prescribed medication before heading home.
