It was a true family affair at this year’s Diocese of Camden Co-ed Softball League championship game, as Sicklerville’s Saint Charles Borromeo Parish brought home the Tom Walsh Memorial Cup the evening of July 26 at Mary Mazza Duffy Memorial Park in Williamstown. The late Tom Walsh was Saint Charles Borromeo’s longtime manager, and his son and grandsons still play for the team. In nail-biting fashion, the game came down to the final inning as Saint Charles Borromeo and Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown, traded late rallies. In the end, Saint Charles was able to record the final out, snagging the trophy by a score of 11-9. (Photos by Mike Walsh)
