“The Force” was strong in South Jersey’s students who walked to support their school on “Star Wars Day,” May 4! Staff, students and families from Saint Vincent de Paul Regional School, Mays Landing, dressed up as characters from the movie “Star Wars” for their annual Race for Education. Once everyone finished their journey around the school and town, the students were treated to snacks and “Star Wars”-themed activities. The school’s goal was $15,000, with pledging ending May 10. On the day of the race, $13,146 had been raised, thanks to the support of the school’s families, friends, sponsors and parishioners of Saint Vincent de Paul Parish.
